Construction Planner – London – Residential A growing London-based development and construction business is seeking an experienced Construction Planner to support the delivery of complex mixed-use residential projects. With an established in-house team spanning project management, construction, design and engineering, this role offers the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment where decisions are made quickly and projects progress at pace. The business is currently delivering multiple mixed-use schemes in London, with further projects in the pipeline, and places a strong emphasis on sustainable construction methods, efficient programming and innovative delivery solutions. The role will be primarily office-based in London, with regular site visits required to support live projects.
This position would suit a planner who enjoys working closely with delivery teams, thrives in a dynamic setting and is comfortable working five days a week in the office alongside project stakeholders.
Develop, maintain and update detailed construction programmes from pre-construction through to project completion, reflecting design, procurement and construction activities.
Progress Monitoring & Reporting
Track site progress against agreed programmes, identify delays or risks, and produce regular progress reports for project and senior management teams.
Coordination with Delivery Teams
Work closely with project managers, site teams, consultants and subcontractors to ensure programmes are realistic, coordinated and aligned with site operations.
Risk Analysis & Mitigation
Identify programme risks and opportunities, carry out critical path and delay analysis, and support mitigation strategies to maintain key milestones.
Programme Support Across Multiple Projects
Provide planning input across live and future projects, supporting tender planning, sequencing reviews and project recovery where required.
Must have 4+ years experience in a similar role on construction projects
Must be based within a commutable distance of London
